Four Part Storytelling Series Workshop!

Event Details: Four Part Storytelling Series – Four two-hour sessions open to 10
women who are members of Made in Gathering. We will need a minimum of 10 women to participate. If we don’t get our 10 women, I will refund your money.
Session 1: Storytelling 101 Tuesday, March 19th 6- 8 pm
We will start with an opening/check-in question and team building activity to build
comradery and trust in the group. We will then present on how to tell an impactful true 5
minute story. We will engage in story brainstorm and delivery exercises. Participants
will vote on a storytelling theme (ideas could be Home, Transitions, Winter or other
suggestions).
Session 2: Tell a Story with Feedback Tuesday, March 26th 6- 8 pm
We will do an opening/check-in question. We will discuss the importance of grounding
in public speaking and do a grounding activity. We will discuss how to give feedback.
First group of five participants will come with a draft of their 5 minute true story. They
will read/recite their story before the group. Participants and Redwood Speaking
Founders will give feedback on the stories.

Session 3: Tell a Story with Feedback Tuesday, April 1st 6- 8 pm
We will do an opening/check-in question. We will discuss how to show confidence in
public speaking and do an activity to practice some of these skills. Second group of
FIve Participants will come with a draft of their 5 minute true story. They will read/recite
their story before the group. Participants and Redwood Speaking will give feedback on
the stories.
Session 4. Tell a Story to an Audience! Tuesday, April 7th 7pm- 9pm
This will be an event where the 10 participants will tell their 5 minute “on-theme” story to
a live audience of participant’s guests and Made in Gathering members.
Redwood Speaking will MC the event. We will be hosting an event for all members.
